About Me:

I graduated from Princeton High School and I am currently a sophomore Journalism major. I do not currently have a lot of work that I have done but I hope to get more involved with the Journalism programs and activities on campus this year. I did a few freelance articles for my high school newspaper, Odin's Word, and I wrote a couple of artciles for the News Record last year, but I did not have a lot of time to write any other articles. I am somewhat interested in the news, but I don't read a newspaper on a daily basis and I am far more interested in magazine writing. I am minoring in paralegal studies, and I will be staying at UC for a fifth year to get my paralegal certificate. I also would like to go to Law School, but I would like to delve into a Journalism career for a year or two first and see how it goes before spending another four years in school.

Projects I'm Working On:

• Getting more involved in programs such as SPJ
• Finding a great internship for next year

Where I Get Inspiration:

• The New York Times
• The Cincinnati Enquirer
• Magazines

My Dream Job Is:

I hope to work as a magazine editor, I don't really have a specific magazine I would like to work for, but I get most of my inspiration from National Geographic and "girly" magazines such as Cosmopolitan.

 How I Plan To Get There:

I hope to get a lot of fun and interesting internships which will help build my resume and give me a lot of experience. I'm also going to get more involved with Journalism programs and work on my "networking" so that I have a lot of connections who could possibly help me with internships and jobs in the future.
